Squash was planted late but are producing well. Cherry tomatoes are coming along. Those shoots are from the elephant garlic growing on my porch.
This is one of three squash plants growing in my Rustic Garden. I will be growing leafy green starters this week to transplant in this space once the squash is all harvested
I thought those mini watermelons were yellow but they were red and not as sweet as I had hoped. Each year we are blessed with so many pears that we have to give a lot away to family and neighbors. I will post a photo of the tree below. Getting down to the last of the cucumbers.
This is the first time that this tree has produced figs large enough to really enjoy. Well worth the wait.
The pumpkin was grown by my 6-year-old nephew. He's thrilled but I am disappointed with the size. I planted a few more seeds about two weeks ago but don't expect the pumpkins to be ready for harvest by Halloween. The melons were planted in early June so I have to be patient.
One of several pots of Elephant Garlic that I am regrowing from what I didn't use last season.
Part of my cucumber harvest. Not as large as last year's record-breaking 69 but respectable.
As promised here is a shot of my pear tree. This photo does not do it justice. It shows less than half of the pears.
This is a preview of sorts a look at what I am currently growing. In this photo are sweet potatoes which got started REALLY late. I will explain later.
